# “Quick look at my CV?” _€49. Written. Five days._

The PDF arrives on LinkedIn with “no rush”. You open it on the train, spot the buried achievements and the headline that says nothing, and you write back a paragraph for free because saying no feels rude. This is the same read with a price, a deadline and an automatic refund if you miss it; and around it the strategy call, the checklist that fills your CRM, the Monday leads list and the group that keeps people until they sign an offer.

Your CV (PDF) and LinkedIn URL Marta\_Costa\_CV\_2026.pdf · linkedin.com/in/martacosta

Target role and two job links Senior product marketing manager · B2B SaaS · two Personio and one Pleo posting

What is not working? Fifty applications since June, four first-round calls, no second rounds. I think the CV reads like a job description.

## The form that replaces
_the “no rush” DM._

Four blocks: the CV, the LinkedIn URL, the target role with two real postings, and one honest question. That is enough to review against something rather than in a vacuum. The €99 fast lane in two days catches the “interview on Thursday” cases and pays for the evening. Never price the standard review below €39; the free critique is what the resume mills give away to sell a €500 rewrite.

What you send back

## Five sections,
_each with a rewrite._

Headline, summary, the three bullets that matter, the ATS read against the two postings, and the LinkedIn gap. For each: what it says now, what it should say, one rewritten line they can paste. Type it in the inbox or paste a Loom link. The inbox sorts by nearest deadline and nudges you at half-time; the refund is automatic if you go quiet, which is why nobody hesitates to pay first.

**Headline** — “Marketing professional” says nothing. Now: “Product marketing · B2B SaaS · launched 3 products to €4M ARR”.

**Experience** — Every bullet starts with “Responsible for”. Three rewrites attached, each with the number that was hiding in your cover letter.

**ATS read** — The Personio posting says “go-to-market” eleven times; your CV says it zero. Same for “pricing”. Both belong in the summary.

**LinkedIn** — About section is empty. Paste the new summary; turn on “open to work” for recruiters only.

## Five products,
switched on _in this order._

The review first, because it is the DM you already answer. Then the call it leads to, the checklist that builds your list, and the two recurring products that keep people until the offer letter.

_Hannah's Monday list · Monday 07:00_

#### Monday leads #27 — 19 remote EU product-marketing roles, one CV bullet fixed, one counter-offer

This week's leadspaid

19 roles, remote or hybrid EU, €70–110k: Personio (Berlin), Pleo (Copenhagen, remote), Mollie (Amsterdam)… One line each: what they actually want, and who posted it.

Before / after

“Responsible for content marketing across channels” → “Ran the content programme that produced 38% of pipeline in 2025 (€2.1M).” Same job, one number.

Salary case of the monthpaid

Reader offered €82k, asked for €90k with a competing process as leverage, landed €88k plus a signing bonus. The exact email, anonymised.

Hiring-cycle note

Tech hiring peaks March to June and budgets are mostly spent by July. If you are starting now, aim to be in second rounds by mid-October, before the December freeze.

## What the Monday issue
_actually contains._

The list is the product. Fifteen to twenty-five roles in one defined niche with one line each, a before-and-after CV bullet, a salary case once a month and a note on where the hiring cycle is. The leads list and the salary case sit behind the €7 tier; the rest is free and forwards well.

The largest curated recruiting letter converts about seven percent of its free readers at $7.99, which is more than double the median newsletter. A list someone can act on that morning is the reason.

Rung five · Community

## A group people stay in
until _the offer._

Job-search communities price between $9 and $79 a month, and every member intends to leave: the moment they sign, they are gone. That is fine if the rhythm holds them until then and a quarterly plan smooths the exits. One live moment a week, a daily thread, and a channel where offers get posted, because the next member joins after reading it. ApplyForm grants and revokes access as people pay and cancel; you run the week.

- Daily

    **Check-in thread**

“Applications sent, calls booked, one thing you learnt.” Streaks keep the search going in week seven.

- Monday

**Leads list lands, members claim roles**

The newsletter goes out at 07:00; members post which roles they are going for so nobody sends the same CV twice.

- Wednesday

    **Live teardown, 45 min**

One member's CV or LinkedIn on screen, rewritten together. Recorded; the recording is the paid part of the letter.

- Monthly

    **Salary-negotiation case + “offer received”**

One real counter-offer walked through. Offers get posted in their own channel; that channel sells the group.

Why these prices

## Numbers from
the _market._

**$100–300** what a standalone résumé review already costs

Branded services charge $100–300 for the review alone and $300–700 for a rewrite. Marketplaces give the critique away to sell the rewrite; the €49 written review sits in between.

**~7%** paid conversion of the largest curated recruiting letter

Recruiting Brainfood converts about 2,900 of 41,000 free readers at $7.99 a month. The median newsletter converts 0.6%. A list people act on Monday morning is the difference.

**$9–79** where job-search communities price

$9.49 for a resource library with replays, $20 for a weekly accountability call, $49–79 for a group with weekly teardowns. €29 with one live session a week is the middle of that band.

**72%** of career coaches say LinkedIn is their main lead source

The audience and the sales channel are the same place. A €49 form in the featured section converts better than “DM me”.

**Mar–Jun** when hiring happens; layoffs cluster Aug–Oct

Budgets are largely spent by mid-year. Open the group in January, sell quarterly plans, and expect the fast lane to spike in autumn.

**~12** active clients the average coach carries

Career coaches average about twelve clients and $47,600 a year. Fifteen written reviews a week at €49 is a second income line that does not need more evenings.

Market figures from published industry and platform data, September 2026, rounded. Your prices, volume and retention will differ.

Common worries

## “Everyone gives
_CV reviews away._”

The free critique is a sales instrument for a €500 rewrite, and people know it. Yours is different in three visible ways: it is written against two real postings, it arrives by a date, and it is refunded if it does not. Say those three things on the form. The people who want a free glance will still ask; the form gives you a link to send instead of a paragraph.

**“What if they don't get the interview?”**

The review is the deliverable, and it is on the page by the deadline. Never write “guaranteed interview” or “land the job” anywhere; the agent won't and you shouldn't. For packages sold to consumers in the EU, the 14-day withdrawal right applies; disclose it in the form description and ask for consent to start the review straight away.

**“I'm a recruiter, not a coach.”**

Run the recruiter variant: a “ten-minute hiring-manager read for role X” at €19–29. Keep it away from roles you are actively filling, and say in the form that a paid read is not an application. The CRM tags tell you who is in process where.

**“Five days is too slow for someone interviewing Thursday.”**

That is what the €99 fast lane is for: two days, sorted to the top of the inbox. Cap the standard lane at fifteen a week so the deadline never bites.

## Stop reviewing CVs
_for a thank-you._

Tell the agent your LinkedIn handle. It reads what you post, proposes the review, the strategy call and the Monday list with prices from your niche, and sets them up when you create the account.
