# Whoop screenshots in your DMs. _€60 for the read._

A founder sends you three months of HRV, a sleep-consistency chart and “what do you see?”. You see the 1 am bedtimes on Thursdays and the two glasses of wine, and you type it out for free. This is the setup that makes it a business: a €12 evidence digest with one protocol a week, a €180 consult with the intake done before the call, a €60 wearable audit with a three-day deadline, and a room where the protocol of the week gets tested by fifty people at once.

## The letter they pay for
instead of _the podcast notes._

Free tier and paid tier on one page, yearly option on. The niche already pays $10 to $19 a month for premium podcast memberships and health Substacks convert six to ten percent of their free readers; the format is known, the rail is what was missing. The agent drafts the digest from the papers you flag; you write the decisions and the protocol.

What you send back

## Four numbers read,
_one thing to change._

The €60 form takes the export or the screenshots, thirty days minimum, plus schedule, caffeine, alcohol and shift work. You send back a read of four metrics, a score each, and one protocol for the next fourteen days. Written, from the inbox, before the deadline. It is what an executive forwards to their assistant with “book the consult”, and it is education about their own data, not a diagnosis.

Sleep consistency **2/5** Bedtime varies by 1 h 50 on average; Thursdays are the outlier at 00:50. This is the whole problem; the rest follows from it.

HRV trend **3/5** Baseline 48 ms, fine for 44. The dips line up with the two alcohol nights, not with training load.

Resting heart rate **4/5** Stable at 52. Nothing to do here.

Sleep debt **2/5** Six hours ten on weeknights, nine at the weekend. Weekend catch-up is not recovery; it moves the clock again.

**Protocol for 14 days: fixed 23:00 bedtime, alcohol only Saturday, re-audit**

switched on _in this order._

The letter first, because that is the format this niche already pays for. Then the consult and the audit, which is where the money per hour is. Then the free PDF that fills the list, and the room where protocols get tested.

#### #61 — Morning light, the creatine-and-sleep-loss paper, and the protocol I am running this week

Study one → decision

Ten minutes of outdoor light within an hour of waking advanced sleep onset by about 25 minutes over two weeks in shift-free adults. Decision: it goes in every protocol before anything you can buy.

Study two → decision

High-dose creatine after a night of sleep loss improved reaction time and working memory for a few hours in a small crossover trial. Decision: interesting, not a habit. I would not use it more than a few times a year, and not if you have kidney issues.

Study three → decision

Sleep-regularity index predicted mortality better than sleep duration in a 60,000-person wearable cohort. Decision: the audit scores consistency first, duration second. It always has.

The protocol this weekpaid

Fixed wake time seven days a week, light within an hour, caffeine cut-off at 13:00, alcohol only one night. Dosing and the exclusions (shift work, medications, diagnosed insomnia: see a clinician first) inside.

AMA thread + this monthpaid

Your questions from last week answered · consult slots open for October, two left · the audit form is capped at ten this week.

Rung one · The issue itself

## What the weekly issue
_actually contains._

Three studies, each turned into a decision you have made about your own protocol. That is the free part, and it is what gets forwarded on LinkedIn. The full protocol with dosing and exclusions, the AMA and the monthly topic guide are the €12 part, which is what gets renewed. Once a month, the slots you have left.

Assisted mode means the agent drafts the digest from the papers you flag during the week; you spend twenty minutes on the decisions instead of an evening on the summaries.

## A room that runs
one _protocol a week._

Longevity audiences do not need another feed. They need a small number of people running the same protocol at the same time and reporting back. A €15 room does that: a protocol drops on Monday, a check-in every day for the people running it, an AMA thread on Thursday, and a live session a month. Access follows payment automatically; you run the rhythm.

- Monday

    **Protocol drop**

The week's protocol from the letter, with a start thread. Members say what they are running and what they are measuring.

- Daily

    **Check-in, one line**

Bedtime, wake time, one number from the wearable. Streaks are the retention mechanic; no leaderboard, this is not a competition.

- Thursday

    **AMA thread**

Members ask, you answer within a day. Anything about a diagnosis, a medication or a supplement dose gets the referral line.

- Monthly

    **Live session, 45 minutes**

One topic, the month's results from the room, a guest clinician when the topic needs one. Recorded; the archive is the reason to renew.

Why these prices

## Numbers from
the _market._

**$10–19** monthly price of the premium longevity memberships

Huberman Lab Premium is $10 a month, Peter Attia's is $19 or $149 a year. A €12 letter with a protocol inside sits between them.

**6–10%** paid conversion of the big health newsletters

Better Brain 6%, Ground Truths 5.9%, the Metabolic Nutritionist 10%. The median newsletter converts under 1%; evidence with a protocol behind the paywall does far better.

**15,000** paying readers of one brain-health Substack

From 252,000 free, at $10 a month. You do not need that list; two hundred paying readers at €12 is a real business line.

**$150–400** a single sleep-coaching session

Programmes run $600–2,500 for four to eight sessions; a four-session package from the best-known sleep coach is $399. €180 with the intake done is mid-market.

**$6** median price of a paid health newsletter

The category median; every comparable health letter of size runs a paid tier. €12 is a premium position that the protocol and the AMA have to earn.

**$16–79k** estimated monthly revenue of the top health letters

Estimated from subscriber counts and prices for the largest health Substacks. The ceiling is high; the format is a weekly digest and a protocol.

Market figures from published industry and platform data, September 2026, rounded. Your prices, volume and retention will differ.

Common worries

## “Is reading someone's
_sleep data medical?_”

Reading a wearable export and explaining what the numbers usually mean is education. Treating insomnia is not; CBT-I is clinical and belongs to a clinician. The intake asks about diagnosed sleep disorders, medications and shift work at booking, and the audit reply ends with a referral line where it belongs. No “90+ score or your money back” guarantees, no supplement stack sold from the page. The agent writes it that way and will not write it any other way.

**“Can I recommend supplements?”**

You can report what a study found and what you take yourself. You cannot sell a stack from the page or claim a dose treats anything; in Germany the Heilmittelwerbegesetz applies and in the UK the CAP Code does. Keep the exclusions in every protocol; that sentence is what makes the letter trustworthy.

**“What if the data shows something worrying?”**

Say so and stop. A resting heart rate that has drifted twenty beats or an HRV that has halved is a “see your doctor this week” reply, not a protocol. You still send the audit, and you say why it is short.

**“Why not stay on Substack?”**

Keep it if the network sends you readers. It has no booking calendar, no paid form with a deadline and no CRM, and it takes 10%. Here the letter, the consult, the audit and the room are one account, and the reader list is yours.

## Charge for
_the read._

Tell the agent your YouTube, X or LinkedIn handle. It reads what you publish, proposes the digest, the consult and the wearable audit with prices from your niche, and sets them up when you create the account.
