# “Which neighbourhood?” _Answer it once, for €25._

Thirty times a week: “we land Thursday, is Alfama or Príncipe Real better for two nights?”, with a screenshot of a booking. You know the answer and you type it for free, and then they ask about the tram. This is the same answer with a price, a five-day window and a refund if you miss it. Behind it, the €65 five-day plan, the €80 planning call, and a weekly deep-dive that owns the audience between your trips. Brand deals stay in your own invoice; the inquiry form just gets them out of the DMs.

## The itinerary they pay to send
instead of _the screenshot._

The plan they already have, the dates and party, one worry. Five days is long enough that you can batch these on a Monday and short enough that it lands before they fly. The €65 form is the opposite direction: they give you dates, budget and taste, you build the five days from your own map. Cap both with the spots counter during your own travel weeks; the form closes itself and reopens when you say.

What you send back

## Keep, move, cut.
_With the tram number._

Day by day: what stays, what moves, what goes, and the one thing they did not know to ask. Specific nouns: the neighbourhood, the tram, the restaurant that needs a booking. Type it or record a three-minute voice note. It is the answer you already give in DMs, with the detail that makes €25 obvious and a timestamp that makes a dispute pointless.

**Nights 1–2** — Alfama is fine but loud until 01:00 on weekends. You arrive on a Sunday: stay, but pick the Graça side of the hill. Two guesthouses linked.

**Day 3 · Sintra** — Half a day, not a whole one. Train at 08:40 from Rossio, Pena first, skip the Moorish castle, back by 15:00 for Belém, which you had on Day 5 with a two-hour gap.

**Cut / add** — Cut the Time Out Market dinner. Book Taberna da Rua das Flores at 19:00 for the nice dinner, no reservations, queue by 18:40. Add tram 28 at 08:00 or not at all.

## Five products,
switched on _in this order._

Forms first, because that is the question already in your inbox. The call for people who want to talk it through. Then the list-builder and the brand form, and last the letter, which in travel is the weakest earner of the five and the best way to keep the audience.

1. 1

Day one · Forms & Requests

    ### Review my itinerary _€25 · 5 days_

Their plan attached, dates and party, one worry. Keep / move / cut by day. Cap of twenty a week; the form closes when you are travelling and reopens on a date you set.

2. 2

Day one · Forms & Requests

    ### Plan my five days in your city _€65 · 7 days_

Dates, budget band, who is going, what they like and hate. You build five days from your own map: neighbourhood, two or three things a day, where to eat, what to book ahead. Cap of five a week.

3. 3

    Week two · Bookings

    ### 45-minute planning call _€80 · 45 min_

Intake before the call: dates, budget, party size, the itinerary if they have one. Two evening windows a week, reminders at 24 h and 1 h, their time zone on the calendar. Notes sent from the booking afterwards.

4. 4

Week two · Leads & CRM

    ### Packing list + brand inquiry _free_

Two free forms. The packing list for your destination goes out instantly and tags the contact by trip month. The brand form asks for budget band, deliverables, usage and dates; it lands in a pipeline. You invoice the deal yourself.

5. 5

    Week six · Newsletter

    ### Weekly destination deep-dive _€5 / month_

One neighbourhood or town a week: the call, three days the way you'd do it, when to book, one reader question. The agent drafts from your map notes and the week's forms; you edit. Yearly plan at two months free.

#### Deep-dive #23 — Porto in November, and why Ribeira is the wrong answer

The neighbourhood call

Stay in Cedofeita or Bonfim, not Ribeira. Ten minutes' walk, half the price, and the restaurants you want are already there. Ribeira is for the photo, at 08:00, once.

Three days, the way I'd do itpaid

Day one: the Bonfim loop and lunch at a tasca that opens at noon. Day two: the Douro by train, not by tour bus. Day three: Foz and the tram. Times, order, what to book and what to walk into.

When to book, what it costs now

Flights from most of northern Europe are at the year's low in the second week of November. Guesthouses €70–95. The wine-lodge tours book out ten days ahead.

Reader question

“Direct or via Dubai for Lisbon to Bangkok in January?” — Via Dubai, and here is the fare pattern and the layover that works.

The mappaid

Thirty-one pins, tagged by day, with notes. Copy it into your own maps in one tap.

## What the weekly issue
_actually contains._

One place a week, taken apart the way you would for a friend: where to stay and why not the obvious answer, three days in order, when to book, one reader question, one map. The neighbourhood call and the booking notes are free and get forwarded; the three-day plan and the pin map are the €5 part, which is what renews.

Travel is the lowest-priced newsletter vertical, a $7 median, with conversion around a third of a percent. Price it at €5 and treat it as the thing that keeps five thousand people reading between trips, not the thing that pays the rent. The forms and the calls do that.

The week

## A week that survives
_your own trips._

No community in this stack: a €8 travel-buddy room needs daily attention and the market barely pays for it. Instead the setup runs on two batching days, two evening call windows and one send. Every form has a cap and a close date, so when you are on a plane for ten days the forms are closed, the calendar is blocked, and nothing refunds by accident.

- Monday

    **Itinerary reviews, batched**

Fifteen to twenty plans, ten minutes each, sorted by departure date. Anything that needs building from scratch is pointed at the €65 form.

- Wednesday

    **Five-day plans**

Three to five a week, built from your own pins and the notes you already have. The agent assembles the skeleton from your map; you choose and write.

- Tue & Thu evenings

    **Planning calls, 45 min**

Intake read before, notes sent within the hour after. Two windows a week; their time zone shows on the calendar.

- Thursday 08:00

    **The deep-dive goes out**

Drafted from the week's forms and your map notes. Brand inquiries triaged the same morning: under your floor, templated decline; the rest, a quote.

Why these prices

## Numbers from
the _market._

**$40–100** what a 30-minute planning call with a destination creator is worth

Travel consultants charge $75–150 a session; one platform lists a 60-minute planning call at $95. €80 for 45 minutes with intake sits in the middle.

**$48–65** personalised day-by-day itineraries sold by creators today

Priced per day on one creator marketplace, with a rush surcharge; the same creators sell a 30-minute call at $68. The €65 five-day plan is that product with a deadline and a refund.

**$50–350** travel advisors' planning fees, basic booking to one-week itinerary

Concierge support runs $250 or more per week of travel, 100% to the advisor. A €25 review of an existing plan is the impulse end of the same service.

**$7** median monthly price of a travel newsletter, the lowest vertical

$80 a year, top quartile $131. Which is why the deep-dive is rung five at €5 and the forms carry the income.

**0.3%** free-to-paid conversion a typical travel list sees

A 5,000-subscriber travel list at 0.30% and $7 a month is about $1,260 a year. Useful, not a living; the letter's job is to keep the audience, not to pay the rent.

**6%** of creator profiles are travel

In a 17,994-profile sample; the same share as fashion. Tourism boards and hotels remain the main income, which is why the brand form with a budget field is in the stack and the deal itself stays in your invoice.

Market figures from published industry and platform data, September 2026, rounded. Your prices, volume and retention will differ.

Common worries

## “People won't pay for what
_Google gives away._”

They are not paying for information; they are paying for a judgement about their dates, their budget and their two nights in a city you know. AI tools have already eroded the price of a generic itinerary, which is exactly why the review of a specific plan and the call are where the value moved. Say on the page what they get: keep, move, cut, by day, with the names. Nobody has asked Google whether Alfama is too loud on a Sunday.

**“What if their trip gets cancelled?”**

The deliverable is the review or the plan, and it is delivered on the page within the window regardless of whether the flight happens. That is stated above the pay button. You are selling advice, not bookings: no tickets, no hotel money passes through here, which keeps you out of the chargeback scrutiny travel merchants get. Unanswered forms refund themselves; answered ones are your work.

**“Brand deals are most of my income.”**

They should stay that way. The inquiry form asks for budget band, deliverables, usage and dates so you stop negotiating in DMs, and it is free because the deal is invoiced by you; a 20% take on a €2,000 tourism-board campaign would be a bad deal and we say so.

**“I'm away half the year.”**

Every form has a cap and a close date, and the calendar takes blocked weeks. Close the forms the day you fly, set the reopen date, and the page tells buyers when to come back. The letter can go out from anywhere; the agent has drafted it from your notes by Wednesday.

## Answer “which neighbourhood”
_once, for €25._

Tell the agent your Instagram or YouTube handle. It reads your recent posts, proposes the itinerary review, the five-day plan and the planning call with prices from the market, and sets them up when you create the account.
