The plan is the product.€6 a month, every Sunday.
Your recipes are free and they should stay free; that is how a million people found you. What they ask for in the comments is the other thing: “can you just tell me what to cook this week and what to buy?”. That is a product. Five dinners, one shopping list sorted by aisle, a forty-minute Sunday prep order, every week, €6 a month. The agent drafts the list and the schedule from your recipes; you pick the five and hit send. Around it: a recipe club with a monthly cook-along, a €12 fridge-photo fix, and a pantry call.
Free to start. You keep 80%. No monthly fee while the list grows.
Free · the PDF lands now · this Sunday's plan comes as a preview
The five meals they download
instead of saving the Reel.
Household size, what they eat, one weeknight problem, an email. The five freezer meals go out instantly as a PDF; the contact lands in your CRM tagged “family of four · eats everything”, and the newsletter opt-in is on the same form. The first Sunday plan arrives as a preview. This is the largest list-builder in the niche and it costs the reader nothing, which is why it goes first.
How lead forms and the CRM workEight boxes of chicken and rice.
Two swaps and an order.
The €12 form takes a photo of their fridge or their prep containers, how many people they cook for and one question. You send back what is wrong with the week, two swaps that fix it and the order to prep it in on Sunday. Written, or a two-minute voice note. It is the reply you already type under the photo they tagged you in, with a price and a three-day deadline.

Five products,
switched on in this order.
List first, letter second, because in food the recurring plan is the product and everything else hangs off it. The club adds a live moment once there are a few hundred readers; the fix and the call are the one-off layer for the people who want your eyes on their week.

Week 39 — five dinners, one shop, forty minutes on Sunday
Mon: sheet-pan harissa chicken. Tue: black-bean tacos. Wed: the chicken, now a wrap. Thu: coconut-chickpea curry. Fri: pasta with the roasted veg from Monday. All linked, all already on the site.
Thirty-one items, grouped the way the supermarket is laid out, with quantities for two and for four. Tick boxes on your phone. About €62 for four.
07:00 oven on. Chicken and veg in by 07:15. Beans and rice on the hob. Curry base while they roast. Forty minutes, everything in six boxes, labelled with the day.
Out of harissa? Same tin of chipotle in adobo you bought for the tacos, one tablespoon, same result. Buy the big jar of chickpeas; the small ones cost 40% more per gram.
Sunday 5 October, 10:00, the club cooks the curry together live. Members join the club at applyform.app/c/sunday-batch/club · €8 · seven-day trial.
What the weekly plan
actually contains.
Five dinners, one list, one prep order, one swap, one date. The dinners are free and are already on your site, which is what gets the issue forwarded. The aisle-sorted list and the Sunday order are the €6 part, and they are the part nobody wants to build themselves, which is what gets it renewed. Fifty-two times a year, the same shape.
The agent drafts the list and the schedule from the five recipes you pick, so the paid part costs you minutes rather than an evening. Food and drink has the lowest paid-newsletter churn of any vertical, about five percent a month and a twenty-month subscriber lifetime; a weekly plan is the format that earns it.
A recipe club
that stays light.
Every guide to food memberships says the same thing: do not over-commit on community, it is where creators burn out. So the club is four items and nothing else: two threads a week that run themselves, one live cook-along a month, one vote. ApplyForm grants and revokes the Telegram or Discord access as people pay and cancel; the trial and the cap are settings. The social part is what keeps people from cancelling the plan when they are busy.
- SundayPrep-photo thread
Members post their six boxes. You react, you don't reply to each. Anything that needs a fix becomes a €12 form.
- WednesdayLeftovers thread
“What's left in your fridge?” Members swap ideas; the best one goes into next week's swap block. Runs itself.
- MonthlyLive cook-along, 60 minutes
One dish from the month's plan, cooked together on a Sunday morning. Recorded. The single fixed live moment that makes a €8 club feel like one.
- MonthlyVote on next month's collection
Three themes, one poll. Winners get early access to the collection 48 hours before the free list sees the dinners.
Numbers from
the market.
About a twenty-month subscriber lifetime, against six months in money newsletters. A weekly plan is a habit, not a hot take, which is why the newsletter goes second.
Her tiers run $5.99, $11.99 with prep schedules and a monthly live prep-along, $21.99 with personalised plans. The €6 letter plus the €8 club is the middle tier, split in two.
Entry tiers sit at $3–7 and hold 25–35% of subscribers; the $8–13 band is where most of the revenue comes from. €6 + €8 lands there for people who take both.
Three hundred paying readers at $10 is $3,000 a month. At €6 the same income needs five hundred; the free list and the tags are how you get there.
Guides to recipe memberships say launch with five to ten and add two or three a week. You have hundreds; the plan is a new arrangement of them, not new work.
Fixed card fees are brutal on €3 tiers, which is why the letter is €6 not €3, the yearly plan is on from day one, and there is no monthly platform fee on top.
Market figures from published industry and platform data, September 2026, rounded. Your prices, volume and retention will differ.
“My audience expects
recipes for free.”
Keep it that way. Every recipe stays on your site and in the free part of the issue; that is what got you the audience and what gets the letter forwarded. What people pay €6 for is the decision made for them: which five this week, in what order, and a list they can shop from on their phone. Nobody has ever complained that the shopping list was behind a paywall while the recipe was free.
A weekly plan of dinners for everyone, yes. An individual plan for someone's medical condition, weight or allergy, no: in the UK that is reserved for registered dietitians and nutritionists, in Germany it is Ernährungstherapie. The form and the call say “recipes for everyone, not individual nutrition advice”, allergens are listed per recipe, and the agent keeps calorie and weight-loss claims out of the copy.
On €3 it would be, and we say so. At €6 with the yearly plan on, no monthly fee while the list is small, and the club at €8 on the same page, the maths works from the first hundred readers. Above roughly a thousand paying readers a flat-fee tool starts to win on price; by then you will know.
ApplyForm does not sell downloads. The printable weekly plan lives inside the paid issue, which is where it belongs. Your e-book and your seasonal collections stay on the shop you already have; the letter links to them.
Sell the plan.
Keep the recipes free.
Tell the agent your Instagram or TikTok handle. It reads your recipes, proposes the freezer-meal form, the weekly plan and the recipe club with prices from your niche, drafts the first issue, and sets them up when you create the account.
